Commuting Options

Like many other metropolitan areas, Philadelphia has a variety of commuter options you should consider when thinking of what type of commute will best fit with the lifestyle you want.  Many times it's a matter of time over distance and this could affect your decision on what area will best meet  your specific needs.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA) provides a mass transit system on par with many that you will find in other major cities around the country.  There is bus service, subway & trolley systems, and regional rail service.  SEPTA also accommodates bike riders who wish to use the transit services for part of their commute or travel, and there is connecting service through smaller local bus services.  In Delaware County there is a local bus service called Community Transit that provides door-to-door service by reservation.

There is Amtrak train service to nationwide routes from the 30th Street Station.  And there are Greyhound Bus stops throughout the Philly area including a full service terminal on 2100 South Broad St.

The Philadelphia International Airport is conveniently located in Philadelphia itself and is accessible through the SEPTA transit system.

When considering where to begin looking for your next home, consider all the commuter options that may be available to you.  If you have any questions or need guidance, I am only a phone call or email away.
